From 1950 to today, our philosophy, “People Helping People” has remained the same.
For 75 years, we’ve been honored to serve our members and community. It all began in February 1950 when 10 County of Ventura employees came together with a simple cashbox and a shared vision—to help their fellow employees cash checks and establish loans.
From those humble beginnings, VCCU has grown into a full-service financial institution with 8 branch locations, nearly 80,000 members, and more than $1.4 billion in assets—and we’re still growing! As we look ahead to the future, our commitment to supporting our members’ financial well-being remains stronger than ever.
Stay tuned for full details and more ways to join in the fun.
Through it all, our motto of “People Helping People” has remained the same, and our mission to support the financial well-being of our members and community remains our highest priority.
